01Facts versus framing
Each page keeps two things apart. The file box and the dated facts — founding years, leagues, results, birthdates, clubs — are drawn from public reference material and are meant to be accurate. The writing around them is interpretation, and it is ours. When a detail cannot be confirmed, we leave it out rather than guess.
02Where the records come from
Lower-league records are patchy by nature, but the clubs and players we cover are documented well enough to pin down. We check them primarily against the relevant encyclopedia entries and public league records, and we link the reference at the foot of each profile so you can follow it yourself. Where accounts disagree, we say so rather than pick a side silently.
For living players we stick to the public record: dates, positions, clubs and documented moves. We do not publish private information, and we do not invent detail to fill a page.
03Corrections
This is an archive built by hand, and hands make mistakes — especially at a level where the paper trail is thin. If you spot an error of fact, we want to fix it. The about page explains what the project is; corrections to the record are always welcome and always acted on.
